Terms
Last updated 11 October 2026
These are the terms for trying, buying and using Lattika, a macOS app made by an independent developer in the United States ("we"). By downloading or buying Lattika you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose; if anything is unclear, write to support@lattika.com before you buy.
Buying
Lattika is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of your copy: it takes your payment, charges and remits any sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt and appears on your card statement. Its buyer terms apply to the payment itself. These terms cover the license you receive.
The price is shown at checkout, as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Your license key is sent to the email address you enter at checkout, right after payment, and is also shown on your Lemon Squeezy order page. Keep it.
Your license
A license lets one person use Lattika on up to three Macs that they own or control, for personal or work use. Install it on each Mac and enter the same key. If you replace a Mac, deactivate the key on the old one (Settings › License › Deactivate) so that seat is free again, or write to us and we will free it for you.
The license is yours for as long as you like. It includes every update to version 1 of Lattika. A future major version may be a separate purchase; if so, your current version keeps working.
Please do not share, resell or publish your key, use one key for more than one person, or try to work around the license check. We may disable a key that is being misused and will tell you if we do. You may not modify or redistribute the app, except as the law allows regardless of these terms.
Free trial
Every copy of Lattika includes a 14-day trial of all features, starting when you first open the app. When the trial ends, Lattika stops arranging windows until a license key is entered; your layouts, rules and workspaces are kept. The trial needs no account and no payment details.
Refunds
Fourteen days, no questions asked. If Lattika is not for you, email support@lattika.com within 14 days of purchase with your order number or the email you used at checkout, and we will refund the full amount to the original payment method. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and can take up to ten days to appear on your statement. After a refund, the license key stops working.
After 14 days we can no longer refund as a matter of course, but if something is broken, write to us anyway; we would rather fix it.
License checks and your data
When you activate a key, and about once a week afterwards, Lattika contacts Lemon Squeezy to confirm the key is valid for that Mac. If the check cannot be made, the app keeps working for two weeks without it. What is sent and what is kept is described on the privacy page. Lattika has no analytics and collects nothing else.
No warranty
Lattika is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise that it will be free of bugs, that it will work with every app or every future version of macOS, or that it will never move a window somewhere you did not want. Back up your work as you normally would.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from Lattika or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost profits or lost time. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in that case they apply only as far as permitted, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms, for example when a new major version ships; the date at the top tells you when. Changes do not take away a license you already bought. You can stop using Lattika at any time by deleting it. We may end your license only if you break these terms, and we will say why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us is brought in the courts of [STATE]. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country.
